When you mention the word love what comes to the mind is pleasure of the flesh. Having romantic moments with the opposite. Unfortunately, that is not what love is all about.

Phileo love is the type of love which is brotherly. Having a close friendship just like agape. The bible speaks about it. It is a brotherly love. Love without expectations, erotic advances and it's accompanied by a puritanical behavior towards the person. The love one has for another having or displaying a very strict or censorious moral attitude toward self indulgence or amoral overture.
2. Platonic love
Platonic love is the type of love which shames or scares away from eros. It's like phileo but the only difference is that platonic love can trigger special feelings of overly emotion which one develops gradually for the other but strictly absent of immoral or sensitive actions, feelings that may trigger this is suppressed and controlled by them. Here self control is highly needed and recommended for them to avoid rigorous feelings that may lead to eros. platonic love is practiced in a platonic relationship, having a friendly or cordial relationship expressing and sharing their feelings for each other where two opposites are best of friends not "friends for benefit" yet they see each other as brother and sister, having very close, generous and affectionate relationships.
3. Agape love
Agape love is a special love from a special person. It's a unique type of love. Agape love is a divine love. One loves the other for no reasons. You give what you have to the person without expecting a payback, nothing in return of this love shown. Fortunately God showed us this love by sending His only son Jesus Christ. A saviour to the world. This is the type of love He expects from us today. Showing love to neighbours, extending it to everyone we come across. Sadly, it has been the hardest type of love to show to one another today.
4. Erotic love
Erotic love is the type of love which is focused on eros. Most of the youths go into relationships to have a taste or canal knowledge of the opposite. When someone is always feeling horny. You always want someone to warm your bed not minding who they really are, character wise. This is the type of love controlled by the flesh. It is for promiscuous persons and womanizers. This may also be seen practiced by "friends for benefit" they only come to you to satisfy their drives, libido or urge. This may also be seen as a repugnant type of love. Its motive is for love making. God frowns at it. Love making is approved to be indulged by couples for a blissful union and not just for fun sake.
5. Comparability love
Comparability love is meant for couples. It is they type of love expected from a man and a woman who want to build forever relationship. Knowing the compatibility status. If you both can make a good union. This is what every seeking for life partner person should consider or look out for. That's seeing something special which should attract him or her to someone. And this quality becomes unexplainable to you. Nobody else sees it the way you do. You feel comfortable and peaceful mind around them or when they come around. You both can make a good couple. True love is unexplainable, divine, peaceful, and special. When you find one never let go. This type of love you feel emotionally attracted and a strong sincere feeling is attached. Showing your partner your kind of self love. Loving them the way you love yourself.
6. Accidental love
Funnily it's indeed accidental. This is the type of love born out of unexpected circumstances or a consequence of premarital affair or unwanted pregnancy. One has to go into love emergency. Because they can't run away from this pregnancy or the said responsibility, they have to agree to marry or forceful go into marriage trying so hard to love and grow comparability love for each other. This type of love can be called unfortunate love.
7. Infatuation love
Infatuation love is not ideal type of love. This type of love is unannounced and can drive one crazy. The person acts obsessed as if they could not do without them. This can also be called a minute love. You saw someone this minute you feel strongly for them. You may have been carried away by physical beauty, his handsomeness, shape, body physique, colour, humourous nature, they next minute you want to take advantage of what your eyes have seen to avail the opportunity of enjoying them. You want to kiss the person because they have pink lips and beautiful. This is act of lack of self control when you are simply being carried away by physical qualities thinking you love the person. This is a deceptive type of love.
This type of love doesn't last. The next minute when you have got what you wanted and have desired from the body, you feel satisfied and something left you. Now your eyes are opened widely you find out that they detest you. You find no pleasure in them anymore. This is a selfish type of love. You hunger for what you can gain. It may be riches, affluence, fame, they are well to do, then you feel you are loving without knowing you are only infatuated. It is mere attraction. You are only going to them because of what you hope to achieve. Once those things or qualities you have be attracted to are all gone, the love and fantasies disappear too.
The best type of love is Agape love. Love without end.
